Dear friends,
A few days haver passed since Easter 2016. Facing the violence that recently hit Belgium and then Pakistan, but also many other places in the world, we celebrated this Easter of Mercy as a sign of hope and peace in all continents. Watch the photogallery!
We also continue to work for the migrant issue: "Not walls, but corridors", with these words the president of Sant'Egidio, Marco Impagliazzo announced the arrival by the end of April of 150 Syrian refugees through the humanitarian corridors, opened by Sant'Egidio, the Federation of Evangelical Churches in Italy and the Waldensian Church.
Our congratulations to Andrea Riccardi, founder of Sant'Egidio that, because of that commitment, received the "Humanism" award in Berlin last week.
