 Martin Lind is Bishop in the diocese of Linköping, Church of Sweden, since 1995.
Before that he served as dean of the Cathedral in Uppsala, from 1991 to 1995. Since 1991 Bishop Lind has been the chair of the research council of the Church of Sweden.
He is doctor of theology at the University of Lund and has been Assistant Professor of systematic theology there.
He is engaged in study of the role of the church in society, the ecumenical work for the visible unity, the renewal of the divine service towards Eucharist every Sunday, and a rediscovery of pilgrimage tradition for modern Christians. |
