Andrea Riccardi described the humanitarian corridors as "a civil and non-violent protest against indifference". These pictures show a different way of fleeing from war, and a different way of being Europeans. Seventy refugees from Syria and Lebanon landed this morning in Rome. Other 60 will arrive. We say to all of you: welcome!
