On the 26th of May two containers of basic supplies reached Hiti with their precious load. of food and clothing

he supplies have been transfred to Anse a Veau, where the Community of Sant'Egidio and the local Caritas are distributing them to the discplaced who have been growing steadily during the last weeks. 

Port au Princi, in fact, is at risk of flooding because of the abundant raiuns and many new camps are being realized in Anse a Veau where the risk of flooding is minor.

At the beginning of July 4 new containers will leave Rome for Haiti. It will always be basic supllies that have been put together thanks to the collaboration of the Custom Offices of Genova and  Livorno. It is one of the ways we are trying to assure continuity of care for the displaced who have lost everything in the quake
