WORLD PLAY Il Rigiocattolo a used-toy sale, is
the name of an initiative created by The Country of the
Rainbow Movement, promoted in various European cities during the weeks before
Christmas.
Toys are
frequently made of polluting materials, and for this reason we must try to use them as
long as possible. Rigiocattolo is for recycling toys, restoring them for other children
and making them live again, starting a chain reaction of conscious consumption and of
education to solidarity starting from the playground. After an initial phase, over these
last three years the initiative has grown to involve 10 Italian cities and has spread
throughout Germany, Spain and Belgium. |
