In Faisalabad, an industrial city in the heart of Punjab, Pakistan , about 150 young people of the Community of Sant'Egidio , between 16 and 22 years of age, came together for a two days congress.
A festive meeting, where they were able to share the joy of having discovered  in the encounter with the Community, a way to overcome fear and resignation.

The many stories of friendship with the poor that young people have shared, say that you can change reality and build a different future.
The road is drawn from the message of Pope Francis to the Community: prayer, poor and peace .
Coming together during Advent thus marks the beginning of a new time for all communities in Pakistan, who reaffirm their commitment to be a seed of peace in a society still so marked by violence, but where has spread a great expectation of change, especially among young people, that Community wants to encourage and accompany.
