Syrian Orthodox patriarch Ignatius Ephrem II visited the Community of Sant'Egidio in Amsterdam.
After listening to the testimonies of some members of the Community on their service to the poor in the capital of the Netherlands, he presided over the ecumenical prayer in the Church of Moses and Aaron, where they prayed for peace in Syria and Iraq and for Christians in the Middle East.
