 On the occasion of the beatification of Mons. Romero, a conference of the representatives of the Latin American Communities of Sant'Egidio was held in San Salvador with Andrea Riccardi.
As well as from El Salvador, there were present the leaders of the Communities of Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba, Peru, Colombia, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Mexico. They reflected on the legacy of Blessed Romero, on how to live the challenge of globalisation and to prepare to celebrate, in different countries, the Jubilee of mercy. An important moment for the Latin American Communities, which together also celebrated the liturgy in the Church of the Hospital Chapel of Divine Providence, site of the martyrdom of Mons. Romero (in the photos).
