Summer is not an easy time for the elderly: with heat, they become ill more frequently and easily, and isolation often exacerbates the situation.

In Pécs, Hungary, the holidays begin with a visit to the shrine of Mary in Magyaregregy, near Pécs, with a delicious typical Hungarian lunch near an old mill. Therefore, for the Community of Sant'Egidio, a bit everywhere, summer is a time of special attention and care for the oldest friends. The images coming from Cameroon, Pakistan and Hungary bear witness to this love which is expressed with meeting, care and celebration.
