The Community of Sant'Egidio expresses its condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims of the cruel massacre of Manchester, a terrible attack by those have all lost pity: striking at children and teenagers means killing the future. We express all our solidarity with the British people, hoping for the end of every violence. We also call on all to work to build peace, convinced that religions can and must play a key role in dissociating from any act of violence and terrorism.
