It will be kept in Rome the breviary of father Jacques Hamel, the priest killed in his church near Rouen in a terrorist attack last 26 July.
This was announced by the President of the Community of Sant'Egidio Marco Impagliazzo.
Thursday, September 15 at 8 pm, there will be a celebration to remind Father Hamel at St. Bartholomew on the Island, the church in Rome dedicated to the 'new martyrs'.
There will also be representatives of the diocese of Rouen, led by the bishop, Monsignor Dominique Lebrun, who will bring the breviary of the murdered priest; it will be well preserved in the basilica along with other relics of the contemporary martyrs. (ANSA) |
