On June 30, in Milan, the Community of Sant'Egidio had a party with the immigrants who attend the courses of the School of Italian Language and Culture, on the occasion of the awarding of thecertificates of attendance.
The School of Sant'Egidio, open since 1997, has had more than 5,000 students in recent years. Extensive and faithful integration work, so that the School has opened sites in differentneighborhoods with high rates of immigration, such as the Corvetto.
The exhibition “I feel fine, almost happy" was organised for the occasion at the former church of the Angioli, home to one of the schools. The exhibition was developed in collaboration with photographer Joseph Fanizza, who iscarrying out a project on the communication with the family of origin through the instrument of the photographic portrait.
