For nearly a year, the Community of Sant'Egidio in Washington DC have distributed meals each Friday night to the men and women on street around Dupont and Foggy Bottom. To celebrate the many friendships that have grown from this service, we organized a picnic this past Saturday (Oct 5) inviting our friends.  It was a very enjoyable afternoon filled with lots of good conversation, some live music, and plenty of food.
