"The courage to hope" was the theme of the meeting of the Communities of Sant'Egidio of Pakistan, who have come together from 12 cities in the country, for the visit of Marco Impagliazzo, at a large and joyful meeting.

In Lahore, the Community has visited for many years the elderly living in a small nursing home in the centre of Yohannabad, a large Catholic neighborhood. "They are our angels" the elderly say about them.

The house of the Community in Lahore was inaugurated in October 2011 (foto). Today it has a small chapel, ameeting room and a beautiful and very colourful school of peace.

In Islamabad, the Community is a friend of the orphaned children and the disabled housed in a care institution. Many of them are Catholics. The Christmas lunch has also been held here for two years.
