Visiting Homes for old people who are not self sufficient is a particularly significant undertaking on the part of the mentally disabled of the Rome Community. They can thus help those who are worse off than themselves. The bonds of friendship between the mentally disabled and the old people have contributed to alleviating the solitude both of the old people in Homes and of the mentally impaired �carers� who feel themselves involved.

The Soup-kitchens - Genoa

Thinking of all those people who live on the streets decided some of the mentally disabled of Genoa to help out in a soup kitchen for the homeless.

The painting exhibition �Down with Grey� made it possible to collect funds for the hospital �Raoul Follerau � Community of Sant� Egidio� in Bissau, Guinea Bissau, destroyed in the recent civil wars.
