On June 4, 2000 

in the Circus Maximus in Rome 

a rally was held to support Children's rights

" I have a dream: to go to school."

 

The international rally of the Country of the Rainbow Movement was held this year in the Circus Maximus in Rome, on the theme of children's right to an education and a school. 

"I have a dream � to go to school."

Children and adolescents from many parts of the world gave their personal witnesses:

 Livia Turco, Minister of Social Solidarity, concluded the event with her contribution and signed the appeal.

The rally ended with a show featuring many Italian and foreign groups, and all the participants joined in with songs and dances.

Around 300 Roman schools, with a total of 15,000 students, were involved through meetings, didactic materials, and teaching aids in educating children and adolescents on the rally's issues.
