Sierra Leone's new emergency. After Ebola, the flood makes thousands of displaced people. Aid of Sant'Egidio.

More than 4,500 people left homeless. Aid for subsistence, food and blankets were distributed.

A terrible flood hit in recent weeks the city of Freetown in Sierra Leone, already proven by the Ebola virus. Over 4500 people left homeless and gathered in the national stadium in the city, among them many children.

The Community of Sant'Egidio of Freetown is rushed to help the displaced, carrying aid for subsistence, food and blankets were distributed to the children who were sleeping in the open and the elderly, who are the weakest among the population.
