Sunday, October 28 in Nakuru, Kenya, the Community of Sant'Egidio has organized a prayer to remember the many victims of violence and terrorism that hit the country during last year.
About 120 people, mostly young people, gathered outside the headquarters of the Community of Sant'Egidio for the ceremony.
The event was preceded by a speech on the importance of the struggle for peace and was enriched by some testimonies of those who have suffered violence. It was then concluded with the lighting of candles in memory of the victims of the recent violence and terrorist attacks and as a commitment of the participants to peace.
