Many people gathered on the occasion of the visit of Andrea Riccardi to Cuba at the House of Peace, a meeting place of the solidarity commitment of Sant'Egidio in the heart of Havana.

The young, teenagers and university students, were joined by the elderly of the Asilo, a nursing home of the city where Sant'Egidio has forged a strong friendship with the elderly for years, creating a climate of strong solidarity among them.

The celebration continued in the eucharistic liturgy in the parish dedicated to Our Lady of Monserrat, (see photos below) of which Frederic Comalat is the parish priest.
