Lima (Peru) - "The Party for Hope" with friends living on the street
21st may 2011
There are many people living on the streets of Lima, a town with almost 8 million inhabitants. After Easter 2010 the Community started a service of friendship with them.
Around 100 homeless people, coming from several districts of the city, attended on Saturday 21st May 2011 the “Party for Hope” in the rooms of the Fellowship of the Knights of San Martin De Porras and San Juan Masias, in the suburbs of Lima: a tasteful lunch, presents for all, songs and dancing… a clear sign of real solidarity growing into friendship!
Many volunteers helped the Community in the preparation of this party: another sign of hope for the people living on the streets of this huge town.
